In his first book, “Bloom”, Paul captures flowers, some rare and some common, in a new and compellingly modern way.
Paul spent two years studying photography and anthropology in Cape Town, South Africa. After completing his studies in anthropology, he returned to Southern Africa to work on a land conservation project in Bophuthatswana. He has also worked in the independent film industry, co-writing and co-producing the award winning independent film, “Double Parked”, in year 2000.
Recently partnering with fellow photographer CHRISTOPHER MAKOS they have produced their first volume of photography as the Hilton Brothers. It’s a collaboration, fabrication, emancipation; they call “Hippofolium”, their fresh and new fusion of flowers and horses. You can find the Hilton Brothers at Ralph Pucci Gallery in New York and Los Angeles.
Paul lives and works in New York City.
